17 people died at the school shooting in Parkland, many others were hurt and traumatized. The anger of the survivors formed the „March for our lives“-movement. For 18 months Kim A. Snyder watched the central protagonists behind it. Their political activism is enriched with adrenaline and emotions. The group of teenagers demand effective actions to control the private possesions of firearms. Within a short time period the local initiative not only grows into one of the biggest protest actions in US history, but a worldwide mass movement.

Biography
Kim A. Snyder graduated with a master’s degree in International Relations at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She produced the Oscar-awarded shortfilm TREVOR. Some of her documentaries are Netflix Originals and are being streamed in 196 countries.
