It is supposed to be the summer of their lives. 16-year-olds Sami, Joe and Leyla are inseparable. They dream of freedom, parties and their future after graduation. But reality catches up with them. Sami suffers from her strict parents, Joe needs to take constant care of her siblings and Leyla nervously starts her apprenticeship as a chef. And when a traumatic experience befalls Joe her friends are badly needed. Post-migrant Zurich is the showplace of this energetic film, which brings the turbulent emotional world of adolescence to the point. At the end of this crazy rollercoaster ride they need to ask themselves: Will their dreams withstand reality?
