STRONGLY ACTED AND CHARMINGLY STAGED: NOUR DISCOVERS HIS LOVE OF OPERA

14-year-old Nour lives with his four older brot­hers in a social sett­le­ment in the south of France. They take turns loo­king after their mother, who now is in a coma and used to love Italian ope­ra. Today, when Nour plays this music to her, he too starts to deve­lop a pas­si­on for it. While working in the parish, he meets Sarah by chan­ce. The ope­ra sin­ger sup­ports his sin­ging talent. Despite the dif­fi­cult fami­ly situa­ti­on, Nour now sees the oppor­tu­ni­ty to dis­co­ver new hori­zons. With a gre­at cast, a lot of love for its cha­rac­ters and won­derful situa­tio­nal come­dy, the film com­bi­nes a harsh rea­li­ty wit­hout any kitsch with an encou­ra­ging message.
