A ROOTED SLICE-OF-LIFE ANIME ABOUT YOUNG LOVE AND THE DEPTH OF THE OCEAN
Josie has been in a wheelchair since early childhood. In her daydreams, the schoolgirl escapes her dreary life by gliding through the ocean as a mermaid. She glides through the ocean as a mermaid. On one of her few excursions, she meets Tsuneo. Their initial scepticism for each other fades, because Tsuneo also loves the sea and is fascinated by Josie’s imaginative world of thought. With him, she begins to discover the beautiful sides of life. The quietly told slice-of-life anime tells of a love in the here and now and at the same time exudes the magic of Japanese animated films.
